Cashco Introduces New End-of-Line Flame Arrestor
Ellsworth, Kansas, USA – Improving safety for their customers has always been a focus of new product development at Cashco, Inc., a pioneer in the industrial product market. That was certainly the case with a new Model 6E00 end-of-line deflagration flame arrestor recently introduced as an independent safety system to ensure explosion protection.
The 6E00 is available in a wide range of sizes and can be ordered with either threaded or flanged connections to fit multiple applications. According to Dimity Ankerholz, VP of Sales and Marketing, “The 6E00 flame arrestors are designed on the principle of ‘quenching gap’.” “The crimped SST metal element allows vapor to pass through, which allows a vessel to breath. At the same time, an element inside the housing provides an extinguishing barrier by absorbing heat, preventing the propagation of a flame from the exposed side to the protected side.”
Since there are no moving parts to the Model E600, maintenance is minimal. The flame cell element can be easily removed for inspection and cleaning in an appropriate solvent solution.
