For Lighter Depth-Of-Cut On Small Machines: Carboloy Introduces Nano TurboMill(TM)
Good things do come in small packages
Warren, Mich., January 29, 2002 -- Carboloy Inc. has added the new Nano Turbo to its family of TurboMill(TM) end milling cutters. Designed for light to moderate depth of cut (.20 in. and
under), the Nano Turbo provides versatility in small-diameter endmilling operations including slotting, ramping, rough- and finish-contouring, and plunging. Nano Turbo can replace expensive carbide endmills and improve depth-of-cut capability.
Available in a range of cutter sizes from .375 to 1.5 in. diameter, Seco-Carboloy's Nano Turbo utilizes anywhere from two to ten inserts to provide the highest metal-removal capability
of any milling cutter of its size. Plus, additional teeth mean higher feed rates.
The economical advantages of indexable inserts are further enhanced by the fact that the inserts are small and have two cutting edges. The super positive insert geometry provides
maximum performance and minimal power consumption. The inserts feature a large wiper flat for good surface finish with cutting edges optimized for high feed-rate and high productivity. Nano TurboMill offers high feed capability for increased productivity and economy.
