EPC Extends The Number Of Its Encoders That Offer A New Connector Style From Turck
SANDPOINT, IDAHO, Thursday, January 31, 2002. Encoder Products Company's (EPC), manufacturer of Accu-Coder brand encoders, has dramatically extended the number of its encoders that are available with an innovative connector from Turck Inc. This new connector is well on its way to revolutionizing the electrical connection standard for the encoder industry.
In addition to offering Turck Inc.'s Eurofast connector on its popular Cube Series Accu-Coder, EPC has expanded the new connector to include its popular 702, 725, 758, and 225 Models of Accu-Coder(TM) Encoders. The Eurofast® connector from Turck Inc. is the connector of choice for many other motion control components, such as proximity sensors and photoelectric switches, but had not previously been available as an encoder option. In addition, using this new connector may allow a user to reduce stocking requirements for cord sets and similar components, since they may be able to be used not only for encoder connections, but also for many other components of motion control systems.
