Overview
pSeries® 615 Model 6E3/6C3 servers and the IntelliStation® POWER(TM) 275 workstation can now have an external SCSI port. The External SCSI Port Enablement Cable connects a SCSI internal controller to an external port, allowing attachment of external SCSI devices to the system.
Installing this feature in a system prevents the use of a second four-pack disk enclosure (second #6574 or first #6584). The cable uses one PCI-X slot and is available on both currently installed systems and new orders.
