GL Releases GSM-A and GSM-Abis Emulation
Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA - August 5, 2009 - GL Communications Inc., announced today the release of GSM-A and GSM-Abis Emulation software for their T1 E1 platforms. In a statement released to the press, Mr. Vijay Kulkarni, CEO of the company said, "GSM is the global standard for mobile voice and data communications. The handheld mobile and the BTS communicate across the radio link. The BTS, BSC, and MSC communicate across Abis and A interfaces within the wireless infrastructure. GL has introduced solutions for the analysis and emulation of Abis and A interfaces. He added, "Our Message Automation & Protocol Simulation (MAPS(TM)) has been enhanced to support GSM A and GSM Abis emulation.
