EMI / RFI Shielding Clip-On Product - Series P//N:: 099--485--06--20 & 099--490--06--20
Omega Shielding has an innovative EMI / RFI Shielding Clip-On Product - Series P//N:: 099--485--06--20 & 099--490--06--20. These parts were specifically designed for small electronic applications where contact with a mating surface perpendicular to the mounting surface is required. Both parts can be easily mounted onto flanges ranging from 0.030 to 0.050 inches thick. Dual retaining lances are provided on both items to ensure secure mounting and integrity of desired position.
The need for two different items arises when considering method of deflection. Part number 099-490-06-20 may be compressed by applying force directly down onto the contact finger or by wiping across the length of the strip (transversely). Whereas, part number 099-485-06-20 may be compressed by applying force directly down onto the contact finger or by wiping along the length of the strip (longitudinally).
