Honeywell Introduces the Honeywell Hobbs Emergency Stop Switch for Severe Temperatures



FREEPORT, Ill., August 26, 2003 - Honeywell [NYSE:HON] Sensing and Control announces the Honeywell Hobbs Emergency Stop Switch, designed for severe temperatures. Adhering to Honeywell's standard of taking the risk and high cost out of system critical sensing and control, the robust, environmentally-sealed, switch incorporates two circuits with multiple combinations.

The switch can be designed with a single circuit in either the push or pull position, two circuits in either the push or pull positions, or a single circuit in both the push and pull positions.

The dual o-ring design protects the contact chamber by isolating it from any moisture or any other contaminant. The emergency switch is designed to be mounted by inserting the ¾" x 16" threaded shaft through a hole in the panel and locking it into position using the provided mounting nut. The knob, available in a variety of colors, is attached to the switch body with a screw to reduce operator disabling.
