Design: Highlites, Inc. In-House Product Design and Engineering Team.
Manufacturer: Highlites, Inc. - a division of JJI Lighting Group, Inc.

Product Applications: HL Series emergency lighting fixtures provide good looking, unobtrusive designs. These include office buildings, colleges and university buildings, shopping malls, sports arenas, parking garages, medical facilities, manufacturing plants and distribution centers.

Product Description: Highlites' HL Series is a family of completely self-contained, fully automatic, "wall hugging" emergency lighting units that provide adjustable or fixed lensed, glareless light distribution when line voltage is interrupted.

An internal solid-state transfer switch automatically connects the battery to the HL's dual lamp heads whenever utility power fails. Upon restoration of normal power sources, the battery disconnects from the load and becomes fully recharged within 12 hours, via an automatic temperature compensating solid-state charger. An LED indicator indicates when a unit is charging, when it is fully recharged and when it is in use.

The HL Series comprises HL-80, HL-90, HL-100. Each exhibits a slender, low-profile, horizontal wall-mount housing, with large-size light units at either end to ensure the broadest coverage area. HL-90 and HL-100 models, have an angled housing with separate aimable lamp heads; HL-80 offers an integrated design with even larger fixed lamp heads contained within the housing. A quick-connect universal mounting plate on all models ensures quick and easy wall attachment in new and retrofit installations. An easily accessible push-to-test switch is provided at the base of all models.

All HL Series fixtures are UL and CUL listed for dry or optional damp locations.

Construction & Finishes: HL Series housings are constructed from injection-molded, high-impact thermoplastic for lasting durability and a clean, contemporary design aesthetic. Standard housing finish is white; black housings may also be specified. Environmentally coated electronics ensure electrical safety. Illumination is provided by high-intensity 5.4-watt incandescent lamps.
