Compact Intelligence with Maxlite's SmartCharge

World's smallest emergency light inverter eliminates extra wire-running

Pine Brook, NJ - MaxLite opens a new chapter in Emergency lighting with SmartCharge.

MaxLite's revolutionary emergency lighting kit, simply connects to any lamp-ballast-combination, effortlessly transforming it into an emergency light fixture.

SmartCharge's compact size maximizes installation options across a wide range of fixture sizes.

"The power behind SmartCharge lies in the intelligent dual microprocessor," said MaxLite President, Yon Sung. "The market sought a compact, cross-platform, simple installation, and low maintenance emergency light solution, and SmartCharge delivers above and beyond."

The SmartCharge microprocessor sends and monitors a signal to the power source every millisecond, through the existing power line. This eliminates the need for extra wire running, dramatically cutting installation time and labor costs. A signal break immediately activates the emergency light, triggering the inverter to draw battery current.

The microprocessor increases battery longevity by cutting off charging and discharging (1V-1.4V), while the self-exercising and replaceable battery ensures optimal performance, ease of replacement, and cost-effective maintenance when necessary.

Microprocessor sensors ensure 20% of initial lumens for 90 minute emergency duration - whether cold or warm start, unlike others which dramatically depreciate light levels after 10 minutes.

Another unique benefit is automatic battery and lamp testing. Without having to open the fixture, the microprocessor detects possible failure, distinguishing between a battery or lamp fault.

The benefits are clear: maximized installation options, minimized labor costs.
