Emco Industrial Plastics introduces its extensive acrylic fabrication capabilities with a look at our cutting edge facilities and our seasoned fabricating staff. Our 50,000 sq ft facility houses 3 ovens, a state-of-the-art custom built thermoforming unit that utilizes infrared elements to achieve complex radii in convex and concave acrylic shapes, as well as scores of strip heaters for simple guards and sign holders. We have two long-bed edge finishing units with tilting head diamond cutters capable of producing a crystal clear, finished look at lightning speed. Three large CNC routers with automatic tool changers round out a cutting edge acrylic fabrication department that employs dozens of fabricators with decades of combined experience!
From pressure test vessels, to aquariums, to bread bins, to sunglass displays, Emco buffs, polishes, flames, forms, welds, and solvent bonds high quality, air tight, water tight, units to your specifications. Our acrylic fabrication department is capable of producing museum quality PS-30 joints, UV resistant glue joints, mitred edges, beveled edges, and bullnosed edges. We stock acrylic in sheets, rods, and tubes in just about every shade and texture you can imagine! Two computerized saws operate practically around the clock to cut material to size. We can hold tolerances as tight as +/-.030". Panels are square and true, and the cut edge is clean and virtually chatter free.
