Embedded Vision Summit 2017

Visit us at the Embedded Vision Summit 2017, taking place May 01-03 in Santa Clara, CA, USA! MVTec, LLC will be showcasing a demo about embedded vision at booth #703. The live demo uses HALCON Embedded on an “Embedded Imaging Kit phyCORE-i.MX6” kit by PHYTEC Messtechnik GmbH, to determine and visualize the movements of the visitors at the booth via optical flow. This technology is part of various applications like e.g., the tracking of traffic or tracing of particles.

Furthermore, Dr. Olaf Munkelt, managing director of MVTec Software GmbH, is giving a presentation in the “Enabling Technologies” track on the topic “Embedded Vision Made Smart: Introduction to the HALCON Embedded Machine Vision Library”. Here, he will demonstrate how easy it is to develop an embedded vision (identification) application based on HALCON Embedded and run it on a Raspberry Pi.
