Axiomtek Introduces New EN50155 Certified Railway PC, tBOX323-835-FL
Axiomtek, one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of innovative, high performance and reliable PC-based industrial computer products, has launched its tBOX323-835-FL for in-train applications. Integrated with onboard quad-core Intel® Atom™ E3845 processor and 4 GB low-powered DDR3L memory, the fanless railway embedded system boosts its computing performance and specializes its I/O design with five isolated COM ports, two M12-type LAN connectors, USB 2.0 ports, and one isolated digital I/O. The railway PC also provides VGA and HDMI outputs for in-train surveillance. The tBOX323-835-FL is an ideal all-in-one IoT (Internet of Things) solution for various applications, including railway multi-functions of gateway, controller, digital signage management and surveillance. Certificated with EN50155 and EN50121 for rolling stock and complied with EN45545-2 for fire resistance, the rugged system operates reliably in a -40ºC to 70ºC operating temperature range (EN50155 Class TX) and in a high vibration environment.

Enhanced Vibration & Shock Resistance
Axiomtek tBOX323-835-FL adopts an onboard processor and onboard DRAM which greatly reduces the impact of vibration and shock ideally for railway fields. Considering to the system reliability, the M12 LAN connectors and other lockable or screw I/Os also can keep all cables tightly secured.
Isolated Port Design
To prevent ESD and over-voltage, this compact-size embedded system is equipped with five isolated RS-232/422/485 ports and one isolated digital I/O connector for offering excellent power protection.
Great Expansion Capability
For greater expansion capability, there are total three internal PCI Express Mini Card slots including one supporting mSATA storage function. Two SIM sockets are also available for 2G/3G/4G, GPS, WI-FI and Bluetooth applications.
