Elscint Vibratory Bowl Feeder for Large Plastic Caps

Elscint Automation, the leading vibratory bowl feeder manufacturer from India has developed a special vibratory bowl feeder for large caps having diameter of more than dia 100 mm. Plastic Caps require feeding for automatic capping machines as well other special pharmaceutical and consumer goods feeding machines. These caps have to be oriented in one particular direction, which can either be ppen side facing sky or open side facing ground or even the open side facing center of the bowl or away from it. Speeds or the feed rate achievable in case of such large caps is about 60 to 80 caps per minute depending upon the size of the plastic cap. As most of the caps come out in "open side facing sky" orientation, they need to be twisted to change the orientation to "open side facing ground". For this Elscint has developed a very versatile tooling which can twist caps of any diameter in 180 degrees or as required.
