Elscint Develops High Speed Vibratory Feeder

Elscint Automation, the leading vibratory parts feeder manufacturer from India has developed a very high speed vibratory bowl feeders. Usually, vibratory bowl feeders can generate a linear speed of 5 to 6 metres per minute. Good vibratory feeders can go upto 7 to 8 metres per minute. However, Elscint has developed a vibratory feeder which has a speed of 15 metres per minute. This high speed vibratory feeder can be used for any component with a suitable bowl. Elscint has tweaked its Model 630 for this purpose to achieve such a high speed. Though the coils and the springs remain the same, some special changes have resulted in achieving such a high speed. Many times for higher speeds, one had to opt for rotary feeders but with this development, customers can very well use a vibratory bowl feeder and achieve such a high speed. However, for high speed, the bowl too must be ordered from Elscint as the correct bowl design also helps in increasing the speed. Additionally, the correct type of coating needs to be used. Elscint uses the Elscinthane bowl coating which provides very good results for dry as well as oily parts. This further improves the feed rate / speed. Further for achieving this speed, air was not used and this speed is a purely vibrating speed achieved from the vibratory feeder.
