Original Press Release:

Combination Case for Non Standard PCB Formats

Combination cases consist of two half shells made from aluminium profiles, which are assembled with each other and with other profile versions to form a tube. Using cover sheets as the front cover, functional, solid and shapely cases are created which are ideal for accommodating high-quality electronic subassemblies. Using a kit, the new concept allows customer-specific non standardized PCB formats to be installed.

Furthermore, the guide slot provided in the profile permits the insertion of 100 mm Euro cards. Fischer Elektronik have designed this type of case as an addition to the existing combination case for 100 mm Eurocards with a width of 100 mm and already offer 21 different profiles. Versions for EMC and IP classes of protection are achieved by means of flat seals and cord packing. Customer-specific versions, mechanical processing, various surface finishes and prints are available on request. The Fischer Elektronik product specialists will be pleased to give you any additional information and any advice you may require.
