Original Press Release:

Smarter Electronic Phototimer

TORK's combination photocontrol + microprocessor timers fit an ordinary turn-lock photocontrol socket and offer extra energy savings for outdoor lighting. The line is now expanded with the introduction of model 5737TZ which turns OFF at midnight and is additionally capable of turning back ON in the early morning (user adjustable) for added flexibility. This "smart" new phototimer automatically tracks the dusk and dawn times as they vary with the seasons to determine midnight each day, automatically corrects for daylight saving time, and automatically resets its timer after power outages. Wherever outdoor lighting should turn ON at dusk, is no longer needed in the middle of the night but required again before dawn, TORK's 5737TZ will offer efficient energy savings in a maintenance free, cost effective, and flexible unit without the need for a separate time switch.

In addition, the line offers series 5717T which turns OFF at various factory preset times during the night and the model 5737TM which turns OFF at midnight.
