Valenite Gaging Systems Introduces New Economical Electronic Column Gage with Integral DIN Rail Mounting Clip
A new electronic column gage that boasts a level of sophistication that rivals units that cost much more is now available from Valenite Gaging Systems. The VE-21 column gage is made of a lightweight high-impact plastic case that mounts to a standard DIN rail using a special quick-release mounting clip that allows multiple units to be 'snapped' together. The column will accept two half-bridge transducers and will display readings on an analog display. It also has an analog input, analog output, programmable 24 VDC control inputs and outputs, RS232/RS485 ports for serial communication, and SMART zero and gain features.
The column is designed for a wide range of gaging capability from 0.0001 to 0.1 -inches. In addition, the unit has self-diagnostic testing capability as well as "flash programming" so in-the-field updates can be achieved. Also, an optional Windows® application is available to enhance the interface for configuration, programming, save and restore operations.
