DOVER, N.J. -- Casio America, Inc. is proud to introduce its latest, and brightest, electronic cash register - the SE-G1. Available in three colors, the SE-G1 adds functionality and personality to any retailer with Blue, Pink, and Red variations.

Equipped with a large one (1) line LCD screen for easy viewing, the SE-G1 is a user-friendly unit designed for quick setup. Through an interactive menu, users can swiftly prepare the register for use; by simply pressing the TAX PGM key and inputting the tax rate, the current date and time can be set in little to no time. The unit is also outfitted with 24 departments (eight keys with three shift keys) with removable key caps to enable users to categorize quick selling items.
The SE-G1 has a simple drop-in thermal paper (58mm) loading mechanism, which allows users to load a roll of paper by just opening the cover and placing it inside. The unit also features a one (1) line rear LCD display that presents the item and transaction amount, as well as a multipurpose tray to help keep the register area neat and tidy. In order to inhibit the growth of bacteria and mold, the register's keyboard is coated with an antibacterial finish ensuring a longer life span for retailers.Â
Additional features include receipt customization, battery backup for memory protection, a one (1) station, high speed, durable thermal printer for either journal or receipt printing, simple mode switching, an easy-to-use calculator function and a cash drawer which holds five types of coins and four types of bills.
