Surface Mount (SMT), Solid Polymer Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor with Lowest ESR, High Ripple Current in 7343 footprint - Type SPA



New Bedford, MA -- Cornell Dubilier Electronics (CDE) announces the addition of a new SMT Solid Polymer Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor with high ripple current capability and low ESR. Type SPA capacitors have a high ripple current (up to 4.0 Amps) capability and ultra-low ESR (typically 5 milliohms to 9 milliohms @ 100kHz) for excellent performance in bulk storage, decoupling and ripple filtering applications.

The SPA series is available in standard 7343 (7.3 x 4.3mm) footprint equivalent to "D" and "E" case tantalum. Overall unit height = 4.2mm or less. The capacitance range is from 56µF to 470µF, rated voltage from 2Vdc to 6.3Vdc and an operating temperature range from -40°C +105°C. Ripple current ratings are up to 4.0Amps at 100kHz. Samples are available from stock. Production quantities are available from stock to 12 weeks. Pricing as low as $0.65 each and up in thousand piece quantities. The series is packaged on tape and reel in quantities of 2000 and 3500 per reel according to case size.
