January 30, 2002 - Pittsburgh, PA - Draeger has introduced a new line of electrochemical sensors, the DragerSensor XS-2. This new sensor design features improved temperature and pressure compensation, reduced cross sensitivities, and a 2-year warranty. The patented three-electrode design of DragerSensor XS 2 sensors provides excellent specificity to the target gases and
resistance to damage from over exposure to high gas concentrations. As with all DragerSensors, the response to gases is fast and accurate.
There are 3 types of DragerSensor XS-2 sensors available for the detection of CO, H2S and 02, which can be found in a variety of industrial applications. These sensors are optimized for use in the Drager MiniWarn, Multiwarn II, and Pac III monitors.
