Original Press Release:

Draeger Introduces a New Oxygen Sensor - the DragerSensor XS-2 O2

July 8, 2002 - - Pittsburgh, PA - - Draeger has introduced a new electrochemical sensor, the DragerSensor XS-2 O2 for the measurement of O2 (oxygen). This new sensor features better temperature and pressure compensation, reduced cross sensitivities, and a 2-year warranty. The patented three-electrode design of the DragerSensor XS-2 O2 sensor provides excellent specificity to O2 . This sensor features a measuring range of 0 to 25 % by Vol. and may be used in low-oxygen applications such as inerting. As with all DragerSensors, the response to gases is fast and accurate. These sensors are optimized for use in the Drager MiniWarn, Multiwarn II, and Pac III monitors.

The DragerSensor XS-2 O2 is ideal for measuring Oxygen in chemical, petrochemical, utilities, and in any confined space entry applications.
