Cabinet Oven from Grieve

No. 858 is an 850ºF (454ºC) electrically-heated cabinet oven from Grieve, currently used for annealing plastics at the customer's facility. Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 20" W x 20" D x 20" H. 10KW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements to heat the oven chamber, while a 600 CFM, 1/2-HP recirculating blower provides horizontal airflow to the workload. This Grieve cabinet oven features 6" insulated walls and Type 430 stainless steel interior, all-welded construction plus explosion-venting latches on the heavy-duty door. Controls on No. 858 include a digital programming and recording temperature controller, manual reset excess temperature controller with separate contactors and recirculating blower air flow safety switch.
