Supplied with foot pedal, pipe cutter, reamer, and dies, ½ hp Model 5401TMSO centers and chucks pipe and conduit and rotates it while cutting, threading, and reaming operations are performed. Three-spoke handwheel with gear and rack system moves high clearance carriage and starts die onto pipe for threading. Using self-priming pump, oil system generously floods pipe with oil while threading. Nominal threading capacity is ¼-2 in. for bolts and 1/8-2 in. for pipes.

Threading Machine with self-oiler
Reed's ½ horsepower, electric 5401TMSO Threading Machine centers and chucks pipe and conduit and rotates it while cutting, threading, and reaming operations are performed. Its oil system features a self-priming pump that generously floods the pipe with oil while threading. Convenient open work space features a large, integral oil reservoir and easy-to-remove, metal chip collection trays. Threading capacity for bolt is 1/4" - 2" and for pipe is 1/8" - 2" nominal. Three-spoke handwheel with a gear and rack system easily moves the high clearance carriage and starts the dies onto the pipe for threading. System includes threading machine with foot pedal, legs, pipe cutter, reamer, R811 Universal Die Head, Threadguard Cutting Oil, and two set of High Speed Steel (not alloy) Universal Dies.
