Imperial Electric Announces Its New Line of Electric Dishwasher Pumps
Akron, OH (June 20, 2002) Imperial Electric announces the availability of its high performance FiR AC electric pumps. These units are designed primarily for heavy-duty liquid movement in commercial dishwashers. Other applications include laundromats and waste separation machines.
The centrifugal pump housings and impellers can be specified in various materials including polypropylene, BMC (phenolic) and IEXF (polyamide). Seals can be ordered in NBR, Teflon or EPDM to withstand high temperature operations. The pumps are designed for use with common detergents and rinse aids (both basic and acid).
Pump sections are mounted to asynchronous single or three-phase induction motors designed for 50 or 60 Hertz operation. Horsepower ranges from .10 to 3.6. IP55 designs are available on special order. Performance volume goes from 21 Gpm to 260 Gpm at up to 2-bar pressure. Other design options include thermal protection and open or closed motor design.
