Fancort Introduces Low Force "SMART PRESS" with Programmable Servomotor Controls
Fancort Industries has introduced an economical, programmable electrically operated presses that use servomotors to precisely control force, distance and speed. The press is designed for critical assembly applications that cannot be done with air or hydraulic technology. The model BP-500E has an output of 2 to 110lbs with an adjustable column to vary the head for large fixtures and longer strokes, a small footprint and standard 4” stroke with optional strokes from 2” to 12”. Positional accuracy is guaranteed to +/-.0004” (0.01mm) and are easily programmed with a PC and user friendly software The press measures 9” X 10” x 25” and weighs 40 lbs, and comes with two hand, electrical, non-contact safety controls comfortably mounted on the front of the press. The press base has a keyway for easily mounting tools.
