Itasca, IL - (February 24, 2006) Especially designed for harsh environments, IAI America, Inc.'s latest RCP2 Robo Cylinder line, the RSW/RMW Series, is dust-proof and water-proof. RCP2-RSW/RMW Robo Cylinders are rated IP65 according to the IEC international classification system for the sealing effectiveness of electrical equipment against the intrusion of foreign objects and moisture. This rating confirms the Series' resistance to water seepage when exposed to water jets from any direction. The RCP2-RSW/RMW earned the highest maximum rating for its protection against foreign objects, and is proven completely dust-tight. To meet varying application requirements, IAI offers a choice of two widths for this new Robo Cylinder. TheRCP2-RSW is 45mm wide with a load capacity of 40kg (horizontal)/19kg (vertical). The RCP2-RMW is 64mm wide with a load capacity of 55kg (horizontal)/26kg (vertical). Both have strokes from 50 - 300mm.
