Growth Provides for New Equipment Investment
Corona, California – Elastomer Technologies, Inc. (http://www.etiroltec.com), a leader in molding of rubber and silicone products and precision die cutting for the healthcare, aerospace, and recreation industries is pleased to announce business growth and the addition of new liquid silicone injection molding equipment.
A new Engel 55 ton molding press and a 110 Ton Arburg molding press are being installed in February that will double molding capacity. Both machines will be equipped with robotics. The investment supports increased orders from new customers and provides improved throughput for existing production orders. The equipment will be installed in ETI's ISO 8 certified clean room. ETI currently provides production silicone injection molding using two robot equipped molding presses.
Randy Lester, President of ETI states "We are excited to improve our services. The larger ultra-clean facility we developed and occupied in 2013 has improved throughput and quality and has provided the space for our business to continue its growth." The expansion and addition of equipment is a direct result of sustained effort over the last two years in the markets ETI serves.
