D-M-E Introduces New Line of Inch Ejector Blades

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. - June 25, 2008 - D-M-E announces its new Inch Ejector Blades. The blades, which are available in more than 90 size combinations, are precision-built and come in a variety of thicknesses, widths and lengths to fit the individual needs of each project. The one-piece construction of the blades increases their strength and rigidity. For easy machining, the heads of the blades are annealed.

"Our Inch Ejector Blades are made of high quality M2 steel, one of the best materials available, and have been through-hardened to 58-62 HRC for superior wear resistance," said Chuck Azzopardi, D-M-E Global Product Manager. "They're yet another component of D-M-E's commitment to being an essential resource in mold technology."

These new ejector blades are ideal for electrical and electronics applications, such as cell phone covers or electrical connectors. With such small surface areas, pin heads are too large to eject the parts from the mold. D-M-E's inch ejector blades give flexibility to customers working with small parts. The Inch Ejector Blades for the U.S. market complement D-M-E's existing line of metric sized ejector blades available in the European market.
