Dortronics Demonstrates New Egress Bar For Alarm or Access Controlled Egress

Dallas, TX (September 27, 2004) - Dortronics Systems is demonstrating its advanced new egress bars here at ASIS 2004. The new 6495 Series Egress Bars, which are available in several configurations, are typically used as a request-to-exit device for access control systems. Required by codes as a "no prior knowledge" R-E-X device, Dortronics 6495 Series Egress Bars fit any standard 36" wide doors and special width devices available for doors up to 48" wide. The new egress bars include an attractive black accent with "push to exit" imprinted. The panic hardware is available from stock in standard aluminum with a clear anodized finish and can be ordered in various finishes to match most entrance and exit doors.
