Fast Hole EDM Systems
The FH Series / 6 Axis Fast Hole EDM Machine is a complete and thoroughly integrated system designed to edm drill .014" diameter and larger holes in aerospace, land based power generation, and other difficult to drill parts. Traditionally, a five axis edm drill uses a combination tilt/rotary table. The BEAUMONT Machine's "signature design" separates the tilting "A" axis (now head mounted) from the table mounted "B" rotary axis. In the process of this separation, we pick-up additional accuracy, increase the range of motion, and create an unobstructed work area not found on tilt/rotary machines.
The SIEMENS 840 Di CNC Control controls all models of the FH Series. Motion is through SIEMENS drives and motors. The motors use absolute encoders to insure that position is never lost, thus holding recovery to a minimum. A 15" LCD screen and a remote pendant are standard features.
Other system features of the FH Series include: patented BEAUMONT power supply, Beaumont designed remote diagnostics, patented Beaumont flush with a high (2000 psi) and medium (100 psi) pressure flush, 3000 rpm spindle, and a communications portal for ethernet, remote diagnostics, and service.
