BELLEVUE, Wash., Nov. 27 -- Edifecs, Inc.(TM), the Quality & Compliance Company(TM), announced the release of its integration adapter for Microsoft® BizTalk Server.
BizTalk is a powerful and extensible middleware integration system designed to move messages between two business applications or between two trading partners. For a message to take full advantage of the BizTalk system, it must be translated from its native format to its XML representation and vice versa. These translations are typically achieved by purchasing additional add-on adapters or accelerators, most of which are designed to only work for a specific standard. In other words, BizTalk customers need different adapters or accelerators for various EDI, HL7, HIPAA, and so on. In many cases each adapter can cost as much as the BizTalk server license.
With Edifecs XEngine(TM) adapter for BizTalk, Edifecs is pleased to provide a cost effective all-in-one adapter for Microsoft BizTalk. With Edifecs XEngine adapter, users can process EDI, positional flat files (including COBOL copy books), delimited flat files, HIPAA, HL7, NSF, UB92, NCPDP (script, batch and telecom) and many more message formats with a single adapter.
"Edifecs is excited about this offering as it provides Microsoft BizTalk customers with a comprehensive integration solution which is able to process all kinds of legacy file formats within the service oriented architecture (SOA) of BizTalk and in a cost effective manner," said Sunny Singh, CEO of Edifecs.
