Newark, DE: The new TrimPAC(TM) Whisper system from trim waste and scrap removal system developer Precision AirConvey, Newark, Del., features a multi-pronged attack on noise that permits high performance operation at a gentle 65 dBA sound pressure level, which is 24% safer than the industry standard 85 dBA for an eight-hour shift and 19% safer than standard systems designed without sound attenuation devices. To be unveiled at the Converting Machinery/Materials Conference & Expo (CMMI) Booth #6468 on April 14, 2003 in Chicago, Illinois, the TrimPAC Whisper system includes an inlet silencer, inline silencer and fan silencer to block, absorb and remove noise generated by the high velocity movement of air and trim through the system.
