ecobee Announces Remote Sensor Module Now Available for Smart Thermostat and Energy Management System

TORONTO - ecobee, the award-winning green technology company, announced today that their highly anticipated Remote Sensor Module is now available through their distribution partners.

Compatible with both the ecobee Energy Management System and the ecobee Smart Thermostat, the Remote Sensor Module has been designed to allow for increased automation and control.

"The Remote Sensor Module will enable ecobee customers to average temperatures, control humidity and measure CO2," says ecobee President & CEO Stuart Lombard.

"Further, in commercial applications we are seeing our customers use the Remote Sensor Module in schools, churches, convenience stores, fast food restaurants and office buildings. Our Energy Management System's applications are as varied as our customers, from monitoring walk-in freezers to sending an alert if a door is opened," Lombard remarks.

"Our customers can now benefit from even greater control and energy savings with the Remote Sensor Module."

ecobee's Remote Sensor Module works seamlessly with ecobee products over a personalized web portal. Through this secure online tool, users can access reports and data from anywhere there is an internet connection, providing a flexible solution for maximizing efficiency and reducing costs.
