East Coast Facilities Upgrade Their OB Ultrasound Reporting Systems

HOUSTON (August 16, 2011) - Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa. and New Jersey Perinatal Associates in Livingston, N.J. both expanded their Digisonics OB structured reporting capabilities.

New Jersey Perinatal Associates upgraded to the OB-View Image Management and Reporting System, which will allow them to immediately review all OB/GYN images and generate customized, structured reports.

OB-View is a powerful PACS and ultrasound structured reporting solution with a configurable clinical database and fetal growth analysis capabilities. The long-time customer also upgraded their DICOM Gateway software which will insure automated data throughput from the ultrasound machines, thus eliminating time consuming and potentially erroneous manual data entry.

Hamot Medical Center recently purchased the OBLink module for their Philips and Siemens ultrasound machines. The OBLink will auto-populate patient biometry from their ultrasound machine directly to their Digisonics software. This will help in reducing manual entry time and potential human input errors.
