Dust Collectors feature modular design.

Press Release Summary:

Torit® Dalamatic® stand-alone, cased Model DLMC continuously filters large dust concentrations at high velocities and constant resistance levels. With basic module size of 160 sq ft of media, additional tiers and banks can be added, providing 323-15,000 sq ft. Collector is suitable for air volumes of 1,500-150,000 cfm. Insertable Model DLMV handles high dust concentrations and filter velocities when inserted into application. Both use RN487(TM) automatic reverse-jet media bag.

Versatile Dust Collectors Provide Power and Performance

Donaldson® Torit® Dalamatic® dust collectors offered in two flexible, high performance varieties

MINNEAPOLIS (January 22, 2003) - Manufacturers now have a dust filtration system that maximizes versatility without sacrificing power. The Donaldson® Torit® Dalamatic® series of dust collectors are engineered to accomplish this through a customizable, modular design and a patented, efficient filter bag.

The Dalamatic Cased (DLMC), a stand-alone model, is a multi-module collector that continuously filters large dust concentrations at high velocities and constant resistance levels. With a basic module size of 160 square feet of media, additional tiers and banks can be added to make the DLMC wider or taller, ranging from 323 square feet to 15,000 square feet. These various configurations offer a flexible filtration solution for air volumes of 1,500 cfm up to 150,000 cfm.

The DLMC's dimensional and capacity flexibility goes a step further with its face-to-face (double-banked) installation capability. This setup option reduces the amount of required platforms and ductwork needed, and makes the most efficient use of available space.

"The key to the Dalamatic is its versatility," explained Ron Jorgenson, Engineer, Donaldson Torit Industrial Air Filtration Group. "The DLMC is not only ideal for new industrial spaces, it also retrofits easily into the limited space of an existing facility. And. Dalamatic is fully capable of expansion as your business grows."

The second variety of Dalamatic, the Dalamatic Insertable (DLMV), handles high dust concentrations and filter velocities when inserted into a variety of applications. When used in
storage vessels or silos, the DLMV provides continuous filtration of conveying or displaced air and maintains high collection efficiency at constant system resistance. The DLMV uses the positive pressure of the conveying air or can be fan powered for pneumatic conveying applications.

Donaldson Torit's DLMV offers the versatility of five available configurations and the flexibility to collect dust effectively in a variety of process applications. Bags can be installed
hanging vertically, horizontally or any angle in between. In addition, using an insertable filtration approach often minimizes ducting and energy costs.

All Donaldson Torit Dalamatic dust collectors have the unique benefit of a RN487(TM) automatic reverse-jet filter media bag, which has a patented design that achieves high filtration
efficiencies. With its compact envelope shape, the bag maximizes the amount of media in a given space and allows for increased space between bags, minimizing the chance of bridging. Each flat polyester bag is scrim-supported and singed to promote more surface loading and longer life. DLMC and DLMV collectors come with the Donaldson Torit five-year warranty.
