DuraComm Takes Smart Charging, Battery Management, and LED Power Supplies to All New Levels with Three New Product Series
North Kansas City, MO - May 2, 2007 -- DuraComm Corporation debuted several new products at the 2007 International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) in Las Vegas, Nevada last month. Each of the products was developed as a result of specific customer requests received for increasingly specialized applications.
The PB-360 Series consists of high capacity, 3-stage smart chargers that provide for optimal care and maintenance of customers' batteries. The units are 110 or 220 VAC (switch selectable). The PB-360P-12 provides 24.3 Amps of continuous power, while the PB-360P-24 offers 12.5 Amps. Power Factor Correction (PFC) improves efficiency and thereby saves energy costs. The PB-360s have front panel indicator lights for battery condition and offer battery polarity protection.
Also making its debut was the RU2-4012-BMS. This two rack units high power supply offers all of the features and benefits of the RU1-2012-BMS (introduced last year) plus up to 40 Amps of power and 24 Amps of battery charging. It is a power supply and a fully functional battery management system in one, with a built-in Amp/Volt Meter and AC Fail indication on the front panel. Both units provide seamless transfer to battery back-up when AC power fails.
The CL / PL Series is the third of the new product introductions. These are single output Class 2 "LED" power supplies. The CL Series is IP67 compliant and suitable for outdoor installations, while the PL Series meets IP64 and offers user adjustable output voltage and current. Each model within these series offers Power Factor Correction.
Each of these new products comes with the standard 2 year DuraComm warranty.
