Dura Supreme Cabinetry Debuts New Door Styles for 2018

HOWARD LAKE, MN: Dura Supreme Cabinetry recently announced new full-overlay and inset cabinet door styles that extend their already expansive door style selection. The new additions include Carson, Carson V-Groove, Chelsea, Meridien, and Avery. These versatile, new styles can be designed with both transitional and traditional styled interiors.

Transitional style has overtaken the kitchen and bath industry by storm, becoming today’s number one requested interior design style for new and remodeled homes. This trending design style is a mixture of traditional and contemporary styling taking the best of both worlds. Transitional style is characterized with clean lines, simple styling and oftentimes includes the clean simple lines of Shaker door styling. The new door styles from Dura Supreme add endless style options for transitional interiors.

Carson is a shaker-styled door with a beveled inside edge profile, and wider stiles and rails. Its sleek lines offer a stunning alternative to a traditional shaker door and the beveled profile is ideal for transitional and soft contemporary styled interior designs. Similar to Carson, the Carson V-Groove door style features a sleek v-groove center panel creating a modern coastal-inspired look compared to a traditional beaded panel.

The new Chelsea door style is considered a modern Raised Panel. With its narrow panel profile and wide stiles & rails, Chelsea is the rare raised panel that works with transitional styled interiors.

Meridien is a wide stile & rail cabinet door style with a new, detailed inside-edge profile. “Meridien’s delicate detailing looks especially beautiful with painted finishes,” states Dura Supreme’s VP of Sales & Marketing, Karen Wistrom, ASID, NCIDQ, CMG.

The new Avery door style is a modern/transitional look with an emphasis on vertical detailing (only the stiles have the detailing on the inside edge).

“Our professional trend and style forecasters work diligently to stay on top of cutting-edge trends, providing our customers with stylish, innovative, quality options that will stay in-style for years to come. Our new door style additions are a perfect example of Dura Supreme’s efforts to stay ahead of the curve.” explains Wistrom.
