Press Release Summary:
As closed loop system driven by 2 NCC moving coil type linear actuators, P/N VCS12-2000-LB-01-C is guided by parallel shafts and linear bushings and can be used for high force positioning applications. Each voice coil has 1.20 in. stroke and generates 100 lb continuous force (300 lb peak). Suited for applications that require quick, short moves with fast settling times, stage includes 1 micron resolution linear encoder and is available with custom strokes and force configurations.
Original Press Release:
High Force Dual Voice Coil Positioning Stage
H2W introduces its highest force voice coil positioning stage to date. The voice coil positioning stage (P/N VCS12-2000-LB-01-C) is a closed loop system that can be used for high force positioning applications. The stage is driven by two NCC moving coil type linear actuators and is guided by parallel shafts and linear bushings. Each voice coil has an 1.20" [30.5 mm] stroke; generate 100 lbs [454 N] of continuous force and 300 lbs [1361 N] of peak force, or a combined 200 lbs [907 N] continuous force and 600 lbs [2721 N] of peak force. It includes a 1 micron resolution linear encoder. Voice coil positioning stages are ideal for applications that require quick, short moves with fast settling times.
- High force
- High acceleration
- Compact footprint
- Custom strokes and force configurations available
