MadgeTech Launches the HiTemp140X2 Series of Dual Probe High Temperature Data Loggers

MadgeTech is excited to announce the release of the HiTemp140X2 data logger series. These dynamic data loggers feature the popular HiTemp140 stainless steel data logger body, but now offer dual probes to measure and record temperature in varying locations simultaneously. There are six models to choose from that include combinations of the 2 inch fast response rigid probes, flexible RTD probes, and stainless steel bendable RTD probes, offering the ability to monitor both ambient and remote temperatures.

This series of dual probe data loggers was designed to provide users with ultimate flexibility and options to accommodate the broadest range of applications. Probe style options for the HiTemp140X2 series are as follows:

TD (2 inch, fast response, transitional diameter, rigid probe)

FP (72 inch, flexible RTD probe)

PT (24 inch, stainless steel, bendable RTD probe)

The HiTemp140X2-TD-PT loggers feature one fast response transitional diameter probe and one stainless steel bendable PT probe. The 2 inch TD probe is ideal for accurately measuring ambient temperatures from -200 °C to +260 °C (-328 °F to +500 °F). The 24 inch PT probe, which is available with 1 inch probe tip (HiTemp140X2-TD-PT-1) or 5 inch probe tip (HiTemp140X2-TD-PT-5), can be contoured and bent into various positions and have a sharp probe tip that can be inserted to record the internal temperature of various meats, seafood and more. The stainless steel bendable probes are capable of measuring extreme temperatures from -200 °C to +350 °C (-328 °F to +932 °F), with an accuracy of ± 0.1 °C.

The HiTemp140X2-TD-FP comes with the 2 inch TD probe as well as the 72 inch flexible RTD probe. This flexible FP probe style is lightweight and easy to maneuver which makes it ideal for recording temperature inside tight spaces, vials or test tubes and is well designed for steam sterilization or lyophilization processes. The flexible FP probe tip has a narrow diameter and is also compatible with the Microdisc probe attachment, allowing it to also be used to measure surface temperatures with extreme accuracy with a measurement range of -60 °C to +260 °C (-76 °F to +500 °F)

The HiTemp140X2-FP model features two of the 72 inch flexible RTD probes which can be used simultaneously to easily identify any temperature differentials in mapping studies including autoclave validation or oven mapping.

The HiTemp140X2-FP-PT models include combinations of the 72 inch flexible RTD probe and the 24 inch stainless steel PT probe (HiTemp140X2-FP-PT-1 or HiTemp140X2-FP-PT-5).

All loggers in the HiTemp140X2 collection are made with a rugged stainless steel data logger body that can withstand temperatures from -40 °C and 140 °C. These data loggers store up to 32,700 date and time stamped readings and feature non-volatile solid state memory that will retain data even if the battery becomes discharged.

The HiTemp140X2 data loggers are compatible with the latest version of the MadgeTech Software, offering a wealth of data analysis tools and reporting features with the option to export data to Excel for further custom analysis.
