DSG International plc Renews Contract with Spare Backup for an Additional Year

PALM DESERT, Calif., Feb. 19 - Spare Backup, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: SPBU) announced today that DSG International ("DSGi")has agreed to extend its contract an additional year. Both parties have agreed to look at additional strategic opportunities in the coming months.
Next month SpareBackup will begin shipping to DSGi private label PC's embedded SpareBackup software SpareBackup's opt-out offer will be launched when the PC buyer initializes his PC purchase and is then covered under the terms of the current agreements between the two companies.
Spare anticipates that its software will be available to over one million customers through this deployment method. This agreement is another step forward in the ongoing relationship between the two companies. DSGi distributes its OEM PC's throughout its customer network and through its 1,450 stores and online stores, spanning 27 countries.
