DS4800 features an excellent reading performance satisfying all main identification needs of your plant, especially in Shop Floor and Warehousing applications. Smart focus adjusting and DIGITECH(TM) technology improve reading rate on low contrast bar codes, while ACR4(TM) reconstruction algorithm enhances reading performance and max tilt angle on damaged labels.
Installation and maintenance areeasier than ever thanks to the innovative X-PRESS(TM) interface. Status anddiagnostic information are clearly shown through the 5-LED bar-graph, while multi-function push button enables all relevant activities such as bar codeverification (Test mode), automaticcode setting (AutoLearn) andself-optimization of reading performance (AutoSetup).
Additionally, DS4800 is easily programmed through the multi-languageGenius(TM) configuration sw. Thanks to the wizard approach and graphic add-ons, the scanner set-up is rapidly accomplished.
DS4800 is equipped with the embeddedhigh-speed ID-NET(TM) communicationinterface. This technology allows efficient data collection without externalmultiplexer providing overall cost reduction and simplifying networkwiring.
Extended fieldbus connectivity isavailable through acomplete range ofmodular connection boxes.
