Rochester, Mich., Feb. 6, 2006 - Letica Corporation today announced a new, 4.25-gallon, rectangular plastic package with full access to package contents via an innovative, integrated hinged lid. The 425RQ Smart Hinge(TM) package is designed for dry products and is versatile, consumer friendly, and visually appealing for point-of-purchase impact.
The new lightweight package features a hinged lid that remains attached to the container and permits easy opening and resealing. The lid opens completely and has an enhanced, tamper evident tear tab that allows right- or left-handed opening. Pilferage of, and tampering with products inside the package are virtually eliminated, since the tear tab must be removed before opening the lid. A tapered configuration permits nesting empty containers for efficient shipping.
The 425RQ Smart Hinge(TM) design yields attractive retail packages, with color-coordinated containers and lids available in a variety of colors. The container has a large "billboard" space for sleeve, pressure sensitive, heat transfer, or other label decoration. It also has built-in edge handles and accepts a metal or plastic bail. Molded-in bottom grips assist pouring contents from the container, and the package's rectangular shape allows optimal retail 48" x 40" pallet layout. Maximum content weight is 34 lbs.
