The Flexi-Therm Dry Block Heater from Vitl Life Science Solutions features pre-calibrated heat modules, avoiding the need for manual checks with thermometers. Block heaters accommodate microplates or tubes. Flexi-Therm is designed for use in microbiology, molecular biology, chemistry, and clinical laboratories or sample heating, thawing, thermal reactions and incubations.
Sample and lid temperatures are controlled independently, reducing evaporation and build-up of condensation. The block heater temperature range is ambient to 99.9„aC; lid heater temperature range is ambient to 105„aC. The temperature is clearly displayed on the front-facing digital screen of this compact benchtop heater, and the timer shows a countdown to keep track of remaining time. When cycles are complete, an audible alarm sounds.
The Flexi-Therm remembers time and temperature touch-control settings from previous cycles, saving users the effort of re-programming when sample runs are identical. Select timer ranging from one minute to 72 hours.
