CDF Announces Their New 55 Gallon Plastic Drum Insert
CDF announces the availability of a new 55-gallon insert for plastic drums. This thermo-formed, seamless, smooth, semi-rigid plastic insert is designed to keep 55-gallon open-head, plastic drums clean and in constant use. After processing, mixing, shipping or storing, the 55-gallon insert is removed and a new one inserted. Now drums can be used again and again - keeping them out of the solid waste stream.
In addition to source reduction, the 55-gallon plastic drum inserts will cut cleaning costs and will reduce product and environmental contamination by capturing problem residues.
The 55-gallon insert is vacuum-formed in low-density polyethylene with a choice of wall thickness of 15, 18 or 24 mils. The insert offers a specially designed lip that snaps onto the lip of the drum to eliminate slippage. It is ideal for follower plate, mixing and pumping use.
