BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS- Liftomatic Material Handling has introduced the newest models in the company's popular line of
Ergo-Matic® drum transport devices. New models include a high-lift version, capable of raising a steel, plastic or fiber drum up to 38" from floor level. Additional features of the Ergo-Matic® include spark-resistant jaws and cushioned belt cradles for
handling low-flashpoint items, in addition to units with stainless steel components and protective coatings for use in caustic or regulated areas of plants, laboratories and warehouse facilities.
The Ergo-Matic®, utilizes Liftomatic's exclusive mechanical
Parrot-Beak(TM) clamping system, ensuring a secure grip on any drum with a top lip or chime. Employing convenient handle bars and a simple foot pump design, any male or female operator can use the Ergo-Matic® to easily place and remove drums from any corner of the now popular containment or "spill" pallets, while keeping the drum in a constant vertical position.
