Drive-Up Biometric System from SRI International Sarnoff Wins New Product Showcase Award at ISC West 2013
MENLO PARK, Calif.– SRI International Sarnoff's Iris on the Move® (IOM) PassThru™ drive-up identification system was named Best in Biometrics, Identification and Credentialing by the Security Industry Association (SIA) New Product Showcase (NPS) at ISC West 2013. This is the fourth consecutive year that SRI Sarnoff products have been recognized for excellence by the Security Industry Association.
The IOM PassThru is a multimodal biometric product for vehicle access points. This easy-to-use, automated system quickly captures face and iris images to perform accurate identity authentication at the perimeter of any location. With a processing speed of up to 10 drivers per minute, the system can efficiently replace RFID cards, passcodes, or security guards while enhancing security.

The NPS, sponsored by the SIA, is held annually in conjunction with International Security Conference (ISC) West in Las Vegas to recognize the best security product innovations. Since its inception in 1979, the NPS has been the security industry's premier awards-based marketing program. This year's NPS program had 84 entries from 66 companies.
