Clausing 15" Drill Presses offer a wide range of options, together with accuracy, long service life and value for any requirement, from the tool room to high production. All drills feature a 3-inch column for rigidity and accuracy, big capacity work tables, lubricated-for-life ball bearings, positive depth stop and heavy-duty quill return spring. All bearing surfaces are precision-bored simultaneously for exact alignment. Drills are available in slow speed and high speed models, with either a heavy-duty infinitely variable drive or five-step pulley drive, and choice of hand feed or air-hydraulic feed. Configurations include bench models with a tilt table or oil table, floor models with a tilt table or two styles of oil tables, and multiple spindle models for two to eight drill heads.
Clausing 15" Drill Presses comes with a choice of 1/2" key chuck or 2 MT spindle, micrometer depth stop, push button safety switch, belt guard, 3-spoke feed wheel and up to a 3/4 HP motor. The production rated capacity with power feed and a 3/4 HP motor is 5/8" in cast iron and 1/2" in mild steel. Infinitely variable speed range for Slow Speed models is 330 to 2640 rpm and 500 to 4000 rpm for High Speed models. Step pulley drive speed range of Slow Speed models is 260-530-1060-1860-3600 rpm, and 400-800-1600-2800-5400 rpm for High Speed models.
