MERIDIAN, IDAHO. . . Randy J. Nedrow, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Micro 100 Tool Corporation, today announced the introduction of a series of 2 and 4-flute solid carbide drill point end mills. MICRO 100 products are top performers in the marketplace as they are precision ground and made with the proprietary Micro 100 SUPER CARBIDE process.
These solid carbide Drill-Mills are designed with a 90º included point angle. This Drill-Mill series are multipurpose tools for drilling, milling, spotting, chamfering and countersinking. Both 2-flute and 4-flute Drill-Mills are optionally available with AlTiN coating.
Cutter diameters are available from 1/8" to 3/4" with shank diameters of the same sizes. The shank diameters are held within -0.0001 to -0.0003". The cutter diameter tolerance is +0.000 -0.002" for 1/8" to 1/4" and +0.000-0.003" for 5/16" to 3/4". Overall lengths range from 1-1/2" to 4" with flute lengths from 1/2" to 1-1/2". T.I.R. maximum is 0.0005". Drill-Mills are also available in metric sizes.
