New Continuous-Cleaning HF Drawer Magnet Cleans "On-The-Fly"

NEWTON, KS - Bunting® Magnetics Co. has developed a new Pneumatic Continuous-Cleaning HF Drawer Magnet. This HF Drawer Magnet is designed to fully extend the magnetic cartridges outside the housing and to clean "On-The-Fly" with no disruption of product flow.

"As our tube assemblies travel outside the housing, grommets wipe the tubes clean all the way to their nonmagnetic tapered ends," stated Rick Bigham, Bunting® Product Manager for Magnetic Separation. "This ensures that each cartridge is fully wiped and prevents captured tramp iron from reentering the housings."

By allowing the magnets to be self-cleaned while product is still flowing, Bunting® Magnetics Pneumatic Continuous-Cleaning HF Drawer Magnets provide magnetic protection during the entire manufacturing process. This product has a standard 2-row model but is available with 3- and 4-row trays as well.

"The advantage of using our Continuous-Cleaning Drawers is it means no downtime. So, our customers can save on labor costs," Bigham said. "Plus, we can tailor this product to our customers installation needs. It can be fitted with Ceramic, Alnico, Neodymium Power-Balanced(TM) Rare Earth or Neodymium High Intensity Rare Earth magnets depending on the strength required."

Finally, our Pneumatic Continuous-Cleaning HF Drawer Magnets features our exclusive "Dense Wall" construction which stands up to rigorous use outlasting thin wall competitive drawer magnets.
