Document Drawer from Rittal; Space-Saving Solution to Keep the Rack Tidy

Rittal's new document drawer keeps the rack tidy. It holds up to two standard size ring binders next to the 482.6 mm (19") rails, keeping wiring diagrams, documentation and manuals within reach at all times.

Herborn, 8 August 2008 - A tidy house, a tidy mind! Not keeping instruction and operating manuals, user guides and wiring diagrams within reach often leads to operating errors in data centres. For this reason, Rittal now offers a space-saving document drawer that can be fitted in network and server racks. It provides a dedicated and easy-to-find place for all your technical documentation. The usual time-consuming search is eliminated and you will save time and money.

The fully enclosed document drawer can be installed in any TS and TE enclosures with widths greater than 800 mm. It is mounted laterally on the 482.6 mm (19") mounting angles or mounting frame and holds two standard DIN A4 binders with a spine width of up to 50 mm standing back-to back. This arrangement ensures minimal space requirements inside the rack.

A stylish chrome-plated handle can be found on the upper third of the front panel for opening and closing the drawer. A label plate has been included to provide the user with information on the contents of the drawer. A security lock ensures that the drawer is protected against unauthorised access.
